CADILLAC — A community search effort is planned for Friday for 22-year-old Rebecca Park, who has been missing after she was last seen on Nov. 4.
Organizers said volunteers will meet at 10 a.m. at the Meijer parking lot near the gas station at 8605 34 Road in Cadillac.
After a brief meeting, the group will leave at 10:20 a.m. for Boon to begin searching. Those attending are encouraged to dress for the weather, wear bright colors like hunter’s orange and waterproof boots if possible.

Organizers said they are seeking as many volunteers and resources as available, including drones and horses. They also asked participants to remain respectful and confident throughout the search.
According to a Nov. 12 news release from the Wexford County Sheriff’s Office, Park is approximately 39 weeks pregnant and was last seen around 11:30 p.m. on Nov. 4 getting into the passenger side of a dark-colored vehicle outside a relative’s home on South 21½ Road.
A $12,000 reward is being offered for any information or a direct location regarding Park’s whereabouts.
Additional searches and electronic record reviews are underway with assistance from multiple agencies, including the Michigan State Police, Grand Traverse County Sheriff’s Office, Kent County Sheriff’s Office, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, Middletown Police Department, and Wexford County Emergency Management.
