WEXFORD COUNTY — Two people were arrested and a juvenile was taken into custody after a narcotics investigation in Wexford County led to the seizure of crack cocaine, fentanyl and methamphetamine.
According to an Oct. 28 news release from the Michigan State Police, detectives with the Traverse Narcotics Team conducted the investigation Oct. 20, targeting a male suspected of selling crack cocaine and fentanyl in the area.
During the operation, officers made an undercover purchase of both substances. The suspect was identified as a juvenile previously investigated by detectives in a separate case involving cash, fentanyl, and methamphetamine seizures.
Following the purchase, investigators executed a search warrant at a residence in Harrietta. During the search, detectives located approximately 12 grams of suspected fentanyl, 64 grams of suspected crack cocaine, and four grams of suspected methamphetamine.

Authorities say 39-year-old Morgan Clark, of Mesick, was found in the bathroom attempting to flush fentanyl down the toilet to destroy evidence.
A sample of the toilet water tested positive for fentanyl, totaling about 90.5 grams. Clark also allegedly smuggled narcotics into the Wexford County Jail while in custody.
Detectives also arrested 33-year-old Devin Plomb, who was taken to the Wexford County Jail on narcotics-related charges.
Clark was arraigned Oct. 28 in 84th District Court on charges of possession of methamphetamine, tampering with evidence, and habitual offender third offense. He was given a $15,000 cash surety bond and is scheduled to appear in court again Nov. 4 at 10:30 a.m.
Plomb was arraigned Oct. 22 in 84th District Court on charges including possession of methamphetamine, possession of narcotics or cocaine less than 25 grams, habitual offender fourth offense, and a second or subsequent offense notice. She was given a $25,000 cash surety bond and is also due back in court Nov. 4 at 10:30 a.m.
The juvenile was apprehended and released to a guardian.
