GLADWIN COUNTY — A 74-year-old homeowner is believed to have died in a house fire late Friday night in Bourret Township, according to the Gladwin County Sheriff’s Office.
Per an Oct. 27 news release, deputies were called to assist at the scene of a residential structure fire around 11:20 p.m. Oct. 24 at 6421 Miller Road.
Firefighters from the Wildwood, Butman and Clement fire departments discovered the body of an individual, believed to be the homeowner, in the remains of the residence and notified law enforcement.
