TRAVERSE CITY — Registration is now open for Traverse Connect’s annual Economic Summit, taking place on Monday, November 3, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Grand Traverse Resort and Spa.
Traverse Connect investors and members can purchase reserved tables of eight for $550 or individual tickets for $65 each. Non-members may purchase individual tickets for $85.
Reserved table sales close on October 21st, and individual ticket sales close on October 28th. Tickets and additional event information can be found on the Traverse Connect website.
The year’s summit will focus on growing and scaling diverse businesses across Northern Michigan, while offering attendees valuable opportunities to network and engage in discussions about the economic climate in the region.
The day will begin with a networking session, allowing businesses from around the Grand Traverse Region to connect, followed by a business showcase featuring 20 different local companies highlighting their goals and strategies.
The luncheon will begin at 11:45 a.m., featuring Jeff Guilfoyle, senior strategist at Public Sector Consultants, who will discuss economic trends at both the national and state levels.
Additionally, Kevin Klein, CEO of the Northwest Regional Airport Authority, will speak about the Cherry Capital airport terminal expansion.
The event will conclude with a panel discussion on business growth featuring Diane McLean of Nueco Furniture, Corey Geer of Atlas Space Operation, and Scott Wick representing High Street Insurance.
