TRAVERSE CITY — The Grand Traverse Bay YMCA has announced its Child Development Center is now open at Kensington Church.
The news comes after a year-long search for a new home for the center.
“The move to Kensington Church is an exciting step for our Child Development Center,” said Andy Page, CEO of the Grand Traverse Bay YMCA.
“We are grateful for the support from both Sojourn and Kensington churches and cannot wait to continue our mission of nurturing young minds in this welcoming environment.”“As a church, we are passionate about investing in the next generation and about supporting our local community, so we are grateful to share space with the YMCA Child Development Center as they pour into these little ones,” said Alex Calder, Executive Director of Kensington Church.
The YMCA says the Development Center offers a number of programs to help children of all ages grow and develop a love of learning.
