KINGSLEY — There’s a new place to grab some very popular pancakes in Grand Traverse County.
J&S Hamburg officially opened its new location in Kingsley and has had a steady stream of customers.
They’re not offering dinner at the new location just yet, but they still have all your favorite menu items from the South Airport location with a larger coffee and ice cream selection.
The restaurant went through an extensive remodel, overhauling the kitchen and bringing a depot feel to the dining room.
They’re excited to test out the drive-through in Kingsley and if all goes well may try it out at their South Airport location
Co-owner Tiffany McQueer, said their new kitchen will also help them grow their “Project Feed the Kids” mission, “looking forward to just being there for the community. And we got a lot of things in the works for a project for the kids out here. So, us having a commercial kitchen in another area is a game changer for projects for the kids. So, looking forward to big things for that for sure.”
J&S Hamburg Kingsley is looking to hire more cooks and wait staff so they can expand their hours and dining options.
