How you can watch the Perseid meteor showers

We are at the peak of the Perseid Meteor showers! Every year at this time, the sky lights up with amazing amounts of “shooting stars” and fireballs thanks to the debris of the comet Swift/Tuttle. This periodical comet slingshots around the sun and heads out past Jupiter and then heads back around the sun.

The next time we should be able to see it will be in 130 years or so, but the debris of its tail allows us to see fantastic meteor showers! This will occur until September 1.
