TRAVERSE CITY — An event not seen in Traverse City for several years is happening June 8th.
Back to the Bricks will fill parking lots B and T in Traverse with hundreds of classic cars for people to check out.
It’s part of a six day tour with various pit stops along the way, with Sunday June 8th being the Traverse City stop.
People can expect anything from hot rods to model Ts.
“We’ll get about 250 participants, maybe a little bit more,” says Traverse City Tourism Director of Sports and Events. “And these are just some of the best classic cars you’re going to see in the state, because these guys are really serious about their cars. So they’ll be two good opportunities to see them this weekend. If we can bring a couple thousand people down here to fill up the restaurants and the stores on a Sunday afternoon, we’re happy to do it.”
And Back to the Bricks will be making a stop in Frankfort on Saturday June 7th.
