SAULT STE. MARIE— Lincoln Elementary School in Sault Ste. Marie closed its doors for the last time today, marking the end of an era for students and staff.

Lincoln Elementary School, which served second, third and fourth grades is closing its doors for the last time.

“The kids are pumped. They have the normal questions. Mr. McCready, are you going with us? Are the staff going with us? Is everybody moving together? Again, it’s about the relationships and that all of the familiar faces will be in the new building in a more modern facility,” said Carl McCready, who has been principal at Lincoln Elementary for the past three years.
