Grand Traverse Bay YMCA President and CEO Andrew Page says they’re grateful for all the years the church has offered them space, but due to expansions at Sojourn they had to look elsewhere.

“We’re just blessed to be able to offer it,” says Page. “It’s a very important component for families. There’s, a significant deficit and the ability for people to find childcare that the especially for the ages that we provide it, which is infant, toddler and preschool ages. And it’s always been a core competency of the YMCA is not only here in traverse city, but around the country, that we provide these licensed childcare opportunities.”

The Childhood Development Center will begin at Kensington Church on September 1st.
