PRESQUE ISLE COUNTY — Theodore Beck, a 64-year-old resident of Rogers City, Michigan, has been charged with four counts of Criminal Sexual Conduct Fourth Degree following a sexual assault investigation by the Michigan State Police.
According to a May 22 news release from the Michigan State Police, the investigation began in January 2025 when the Michigan State Police Alpena Post was contacted regarding a sexual assault complaint.
The alleged assaults occurred in Rogers City over several months, leading detectives to identify Beck as the suspect.
The case was reviewed by the Presque Isle County Prosecutor’s Office, resulting in charges against Beck.
Beck was arraigned on May 19 in the 89th District Court in Presque Isle County. His bond was set at $200,000 with a 10% cash surety requirement.
Beck’s next court appearance is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. on May 27.
As the legal proceedings continue, Beck remains under scrutiny by the authorities, with his upcoming court appearance set to further address the charges against him.
