Two people arrested for dealing meth after traffic stop and home search, MSP says

ROSCOMMON COUNTY — Two people have been arrested after a month long investigation by the Strike Team Investigative Narcotics Group (STING) into methamphetamine suppliers in Roscommon and Crawford Counties.

STING, with the help of Michigan State Police troopers from the West Branch Post, made an investigative traffic stop on I-75 near MM 221 in Roscommon County’s Richfield Twp. where they arrested 39-year-old woman from Grayling and 43-year-old man from St. Helen, suspected of supplying meth.

After the traffic stop, police searched a home in Crawford County where they say they found nearly 100 grams of meth, a handgun and other evidence.

The Roscommon and Crawford County sheriff’s offices helped in the arrests.
