HARBOR SPRINGS- The Harbor Springs Public School Board held a special meeting to discuss the non-renewal of contracts for two successful basketball coaches, John and Amy Flynn, who led the Rams to many successes during their time there.
Despite public support for the coaches, the motion to offer John Flynn a new contract came to a 3-3 tie, and no further action will be taken, while the recommendation to offer Amy Flynn a new contract did not even make it to a vote.
The reason for the firings has not been made public, causing confusion and frustration among some in the community.
