Mancelona man arrested for possession of child sexually abusive material

MANCELONA — The Michigan State Police Computer Crimes Unit, in conjunction with the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, arrested Floyd Levi Stickney, 45, of Mancelona, for aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material.

According to a May 13 news release, Stickney was arrested following an investigation requested by the Michigan Department of Corrections. During an examination of seized devices, child sexually abusive material was discovered on Stickney’s cell phone.

Stickney was charged with two counts of aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material, two counts of possession of child sexually abusive material, and two counts of using a computer to commit a crime. Stickney was arraigned in the 87-B Judicial District Court on May 12.

The MSP ICAC Task Force was assisted by the Michigan Department of Corrections.
