TRAVERSE CITY — a big event is making its debut this summer in the cherry capital.
Traverse City Food and Wine will bring guest chefs, cooking classes and dining experiences to the region.
Chefs include nationally recognized names; as well as some local headliners.
Traverse City Food and Wine is meant to bring the cultural flare of these talented chefs and create a local spin exclusive to the region.
“This is something where this will give us the opportunity to make a bigger name for the region in that agritourism space, and to recognize what we currently have and help build it” says Traverse City Tourism COO Whitney Waara. “It was fun to find out the ties that each of these chefs have to the area and also to, to build the, the connections and the reputation that way.”
The event will take place August 20th-24th.
