CHARLEVOIX — Today, the Charlevoix Emmet Intermediate School District encouraged everyone to wear maroon shirts, ribbons, or make signs to post to social media with the #RayderStrong.
Dairy Grille is a business who is participating in event. They will be donating all of their proceeds from today to the golf team. This afternoon they had already sold one hundred pounds of meat and several gallons of ice cream. Dairy Grille Owner, Terry Hayden says it’s the least he can do.
“I mean, the support is unbelievable. We’ve never had anything like this,” he says “this hit home personally. One of the young men in the, accident, I actually gave pitching lessons to up in Petoskey. All the kids are absolutely fantastic kids. They’re here all the time. They’re getting ice cream. They’re getting burgers. So, it’s the least that we could do at dairy grille.
Dairy Grille is open until 9 p.m.
