WEXFORD COUNTY — A driver has been arrested following a March 18 crash on US-131 in Wexford County at East County Line Road that killed a 56-year-old Mancelona man.
The collision involved a northbound semi-tractor trailer and a southbound pickup truck pulling a trailer.
The semi-tractor trailer driver was 29-year-old Kulwaran Singh, from Fresno, California, who was treated at Munson in Traverse City and later taken into custody. Singh was arraigned on the charge of Negligent Homicide and given a bond of $100,000.
The pickup truck driver, 56-year-old William Bolin of Mancelona, was pronounced dead at the scene.

WEXFORD COUNTY — A 56-year-old Mancelona man was killed in a crash on US-131 in Wexford County at East County Line Road on March 18.
William Troy Bolin was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash that occurred at 8:55 a.m. Deputies said a northbound semi-tractor trailer crossed the center line, colliding with a southbound pickup truck pulling a trailer driven by Bolin. Information about the semi driver was not released.
The road remained closed and traffic was rerouted until approximately 5:30 p.m. Wexford County deputies were assisted on the scene by the Michigan State Police, Michigan State Police Motor Carrier Division, Manton Fire Department, Cedar Creek Fire Department, Fife Lake Fire Department, Kalkaska EMS and the Grand Traverse County Sheriff’s Office.
UPDATE 12:13 p.m. | March 18
WEXFORD COUNTY — Wexford County deputies are investigating what is now a fatal crash that deputies say happened at 8:55 a.m. March 18 at the intersection of North US-131 and East County Line Road.
Deputies say a northbound semi crossed the center line and collided with a southbound pickup truck pulling a trailer.
The pickup truck driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver’s name has not been released.
The road will remain closed for several more hours.
Southbound traffic will be rerouted on M-113 and eastbound traffic to East County Line Road.
Northbound traffic is encouraged to use Manton Exit 191 and use M-42 to travel east or 16 Road to travel west.

WEXFORD COUNTY — According to a post by the Grand Traverse 911 on Facebook and witness accounts, around 9 a.m. an accident near East County Line Road blocked off part of the road.
As of 9:47 a.m., Wexford County Deputies were still on the scene and investigating the crash. The road will be closed for an undetermined amount of time. All southbound traffic will be diverted down County Line Road.
