MIDLAND COUNTY - The Midland County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a two-vehicle fatal traffic crash that claimed the life of Kammie Merryman, 40, of Jerome Township. The crash occurred on Wednesday, Feb. 19 around 2:17 p.m. on West Saginaw Road near North Lewis Road in Warren Township.

The Enclave was headed east on West Saginaw Road and was occupied by a 56-year-old Clare County man - the driver – and a 54-year-old woman passenger.
Merryman was pronounced dead at the scene due to injuries from the crash, deputies said. The 56-year-old and 54-year-old were taken to MyMichigan Medical Center by EMS for non-life-threatening injuries.
The Midland County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the Coleman Community Fire Department, the Jerome Township Fire Department and MyMichigan EMS.
