Crafting with the Katies: Making a felt pennant!

The Katies are back with a fun craft to help you cheer on your favorite team – no matter what sport you’re watching.

For this project, you’ll need:

  • Felt in your team’s colors
  • Iron-on patches
  • Scissors
  • Hot glue
  • Ribbons
  • Iron and ironing board
  • Sharpie
  • Ruler
  • Optional: wooden dowel

Step one: Freehand, or use a ruler, to measure out a triangle for your pennant. Cut that out.

Step two: Time to decorate! Assemble your pennant to look how you want!

Step three: If you’re using iron-on patches, follow the directions on the package to attach your patches to the felt.

Step four: If you want to add a wooden dowel, cut it to the length you’d like. Then, cut a few holes along the short side of your pennant and insert the dowel into those holes. You can reinforce your dowel with hot glue and a piece of felt over your dowel.
