CADILLAC - On Monday Feb. 3 at 2:46 a.m., Cadillac Police Department officers were sent to the Harbor View Apartments area on a report of someone hearing possible gun shots.
Officers responded at that time and did not observe anything out of the ordinary, police said.
Officers were called back to Harbor View at 4:13 a.m. on a report of damage done to one of the entrance doors to the apartment complex, police said.
Upon arrival, officers were shown a door that appeared to have been damaged by a bullet striking the window and door, they said. Currently there are no known suspects or motives for the incident.
Cadillac police are looking for assistance from the community in identifying a suspect in this incident and encourage anyone with any information to contact the Cadillac Police Department at 231-775-3491.
