Wasp spray attack leads to meth bust in Clare Co. home

A man was arrested for meth in Clare County after deputies said he assaulting people with wasp spray.

On Jan. 23, Clare County Central Dispatch received a call of a domestic assault in Lincoln Township. Deputies arrived to find James Briskey of Lake George spraying people in the home with wasp spray.

During their investigation, they saw a meth pipe in plain view. There were told it belonged to Briskey. After obtaining a search warrant, deputies found 11 grams of meth, more pipes, a scale and baggies.

Briskey was arrested and arraigned the next day on one count of Domestic Violence, one count of Possession of Methamphetamine, one count of Delivery/Manufacture of Methamphetamine, and one count of Maintaining a Drug House.

No one in the home was reportedly injured by the wasp spray.
