TRAVERSE CITY - Nittolo’s Little Italy is coming to the Breakwater Building in Traverse City. Nittolo’s Pizza and seafood is located in Lake Leelanau and they are expanding to a new location with a different concept.
The restaurant will be able to hold around 75 people with outdoor seating in the summer. The owner says it will have a New York old school ‘little Italy vibe.’ And will focus on smaller portion sizes with pricing to be more affordable for families, while also having a nice dining experience.
“We’re a family establishment here. I don’t want to alienate, especially in a time of now. I don’t want to alienate them because the kids are future diners and the families can find a place. We had a table of seven tops sitting here last night. Those three kids, they ate the meatball. That two-meatball sub. Three kids. If you can produce and win them, they’re there for life,” says Eric Nittolo, Owner.
Nittolo’s little Italy will have a half off happy hour every day from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and they are expecting to open in April.
