TRAVERSE CITY — Cherry Capital Airport authorities reported that an airplane taxied off the runway on Wednesday night.
On Wednesday, Dec. 4, American Airlines Flight 5924, operated by Piedmont Airline, landed at TVC just after 8 p.m.
The aircraft – an Embraer 145 with 44 passengers and three crew members on board – then taxied to the ramp. Upon turning onto the taxiway that leads to the ramp, the aircraft left the pavement into the snow, officials said.
No injuries were reported, and all passengers were shuttled to the terminal.
