TRAVERSE CITY — With Christmas only weeks away, online shopping is ramping up.
eFulfillment Service in Traverse City said during the holiday season their order volume typically doubles, shipping thousands and thousands of orders per day. They started planning for the holiday season back in August and have added 13 new team members for the bump in shipments.
“We have about 40% of our clients that are international clients, which is great for our community. Brings additional revenue into our community. We’re extremely busy, order volumes are about equivalent over last year’s numbers,” said Merry Hawley, HR manager.
Merry says things will start to wind down and return to a normal pace after the new year.
