CADILLAC — A decades-long tradition returns Saturday, Dec. 7 when the Cadillac Garden Club holds its Holiday Home Tour.
The self-guided tour highlights four homes that have been decorated by club members with fresh floral arrangements, plus a fifth decorated site with coffee and cookies in a historic home converted to commercial use. All five locations are close to downtown and offer an interesting mix of architecture and decor.
“They walk through the homes and they can see the architecture, the decor of the family as well of our is our flower arrangements that we do, which are very creative, and we try to enhance whatever the decor or the Christmas decorations are for the homeowner,” said Leslie Hoover, club president.
This is the club’s only fundraiser, and ticket sales will go towards funding all their projects including sound garden upkeep.
The tour is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. You can buy tickets at Brink’s Art & Frame Shop and at Horizon Books in Cadillac for $15. Tickets are also available Saturday at Darrick Earegood State Farm, 302 E. Cass St, for $20.
