“Corporate profits have gone through the roof. That’s when we talk about price gouging. If you believe in a free market, you believe in a fair economy. We saw it again recently when the hurricanes hit. What a weird thing. They were telling people to fly out of Florida as quick as you could in airline prices went through the roof. That’s immoral. That’s wrong. That’s why 37 states have price gouging. Kamala Harris will put in a federal ban on price gouging.”

Walz also talked on supporters from other parties throwing in behind Vice President Harris.

“We’ve got independents and republicans coming over to this campaign. People who are adhering to the old republican party’s values that added to this country. Yes. That’s not Donald Trump. No. When the north when they talk about freedom, we know we know what we mean when we talk about freedom, when they talk about freedom, he means government should be free to be in your exam room, to be in your bedroom.”

Before closing the night Walz encouraged people to vote early and to bring family and friends with them to the polls.

“I’m here tonight with you in Michigan. On behalf of the Vice President myself, to humbly ask you for your vote come November 5th. Oh, four days, four days. This thing is going to be close. But here’s the deal. We’ve got momentum on our side. We know how to work, and we’re not taking anything for granted. Nothing.”
