ARK is saving Michigan critters for all of us

Sometimes we can take for granted that we live in such a beautiful place overflowing with wildlife. We may not realize how special Northern Michigan is from the rest of the country but from someone that’s traveled to most states, the Mitten state is a pristine place. Keeping the natural wonders thriving requires a healthy and happy wildlife populations, which in turn keeps an ecosystem self-sustaining.

But what happens when an animal gets injured or if babies get abandoned? That is when ARK (Association to Rescue Kritters) steps in to care for those animals as there purpose is to “rescue, rehabilitate, and return to the wild injured and orphaned wildlife”.

But ARK also takes a proactive approach to wildlife conservation, organizing workshops and classroom programs that introduces people particularly to Birds of Prey that are so crucial to the balance in Michigan. By inspiring young minds and sharing the importance of these majestic birds, ARK is able to educate and engage young audiences.
