TRAVERSE CITY — The CherryT Ball Drop, an annual New Year’s Eve event in Traverse City, Michigan, will benefit Project Feed the Kids, a local organization dedicated to alleviating child hunger.
The CherryT Ball Drop has become a New Year’s Eve tradition for many residents and visitors to the intersection of Cass and Front Streets to celebrate the start of the New Year.
The annual event will kick off at 10:30 p.m. Dec. 31 with live entertainment, leading up to the iconic drop of the illuminated cherry at midnight. Festivities will conclude at 12:20 a.m.
“We are thrilled to partner with Project Feed the Kids for this year’s CherryT Ball Drop,” Festival Foundation CEO Kat Paye said. “As we come together to ring in 2025, we want to give back to the community that has supported us year after year. Project Feed the Kids plays a critical role in ensuring children and their families have access to nutritious meals, and we’re excited to support their mission.”
