Coming to the fudge capital of the world from Aug. 23 to 25, the famous Mackinac Island Fudge Festival is a celebration of the island’s number one export.
With seven different fudge companies on the island there is no shortage of selection, and with 10,000 pounds of fudge being made per day during the peak season, one could say that these confectionary craftspeople know their way around this tasty treat.
With events happening all weekend the Mackinac Island Fudge Festival is not something that any fudge fanatic will be okay missing out on so for more information and to plan your trip, visit the Mackinac Island Tourism website.
