How research uses wastewater to monitor viruses

During the height of the COVID pandemic, communities in the United States would monitor wastewater to determine where there were cases of the virus.

The research is not only helping during the time of COVID-19 but also other bacteria and viruses.

Michael Conway is a microbiologist at Central Michigan University. Michael joined us on Good Day Northern Michigan to discuss the research and how it’s helped the CMU community.
