Trevor Project Helps Connect LGBTQ+ Youth With Crisis Counselors

June is Pride Month, and one nationwide campaign to highlight the importance of fighting against anti-LGBTQ+ rhetoric is The Trevor Project.

The Trevor Project is a nonprofit that provides 24/7 crisis support services to LGBTQ+ young people, year round. You can text, chat or call anytime to reach a trained counselor.

The Director of State Advocacy Campaigns for the Trevor Project, Troy Stevenson, joined us to talk about the work being done here in Michigan.
