- Freezing rain transitioning to wind-driven heavy snow tonight and Monday. Total snow accumulations between 8 and 14 inches and ice accumulations up to a quarter of an inch. Winds gusting as high as 55 mph.
For Emmet-Cheboygan-Presque Isle-Beaver Island and surrounding islands. From 7 PM Sunday until 1 AM Tuesday.
- Light freezing rain and drizzle transitioning to wind-driven snow later tonight and Monday. Total snow accumulations between 6 and 9 inches and ice accumulations around one tenth of an inch. Winds gusting as high as 55 mph.
For Leelanau-Antrim-Otsego-Benzie-Grand Traverse-Kalkaska-Manistee-Wexford-Charlevoix counties. From 1 AM Monday until 1 AM Tuesday.

For Osceola-Clare-Mecosta counties. From 1 AM Monday until 7 PM Monday.
- Snow and blowing and drifting snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 2 and 5 inches. Winds gusting as high as 55mph.
For Luce County until 1am Tuesday.
- An additional 2-5″ will be possible.

Lake effect will stick around tonight, mainly for the Tip of the Mitt and U.P..
Still gusty winds from the NW Monday night, but not as strong into Tuesday.
Lows Monday night from the upper single digits to near 20.
Tuesday: More Snow
Still some isolated AM lake effect snow Tuesday but, not as windy.
Another clipper system Tuesday PM into early Wednesday AM delivering more snow.
Highs Tuesday from the upper teens to upper 20s.
New Years: Some Lake Effect Snow, Cold
Lake effect snow chances will be likely throughout New Year’s and to round out the week.
Wednesday AM features some lingering snow from a clipper with more lake effect snow into the PM.
Highs for NYE from the mid teens to mid 20s.
If you are heading outside for any NYE festivities it will be cold!
Temps ringing in the new year will trend in the single digits & teens.
More isolated lake effect snow showers in the U.P. for New Year’s Day on Thursday.
Highs for New Year’s Day will only feature low teens to low 20s.
