It’s a unique time of year for breweries in Northern Michigan.
Summer isn’t quite over but fall is almost here, that creates a special challenge to brewers.
“There are definitely beers during different seasons that people are looking for,” said Todd Klepper, general manager of The Filling Station. “We are still making some of the tropical IPA’s, the stuff that people are looking for on a hot summer day but there is plenty of malty goodness on the way as we move into the fall.”
In this week’s Brewvine, Whitney Amann and photojournalist Jeremy Erickson check out The Filling Station in Traverse City to see how they transition with the seasons.
