Cooking With Chef Hermann: Shiitake and Sesame Bok Choy

Shiitake and Sesame Bok Choy


  • 2 tsp. Sesame oil
  • 1 lb. Baby Bok Choy, thick slices
  • 2 tsp. Sesame seeds
  • 8 oz. Shiitake mushrooms
  • 2 scallions, thinly sliced
  • 2 tsp. lime juice
  • 2 tsp. fish sauce
  • 1 TB. cilantro, chopped
  • Extra toasted sesame seeds for garnishing


Heat the oil and cook the mushrooms and Bok Choy until tender.  Add the remaining ingredients, except cilantro.  Plate and sprinkle cilantro and sesame seeds over top.
