BrewVine: Grand Traverse Distillery in Traverse City

When it comes to craft distillation, Grand Traverse Distillery really knows its stuff!

Filling bottles across the spectrum of spirits, our visit sees them hard at work, crafting their Isla Rye.

While the Isla Rye hearkens back to a mixed history of spirits, the maple cask gin is a decidedly more modern concoction.

It involves first using bourbon barrels to age maple syrup, then filling those barrels with gin to impart a decadent maple finish.
