Grilled Salmon Steaks with Cilantro Yogurt Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 2 Serrano or Poblano Peppers, deseeded, char grilled
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 C Cilantro leaves
  • ½ C whole milk yogurt
  • 1 TB Olive oil
  • 1 tsp honey
  • Salt
  • Two 12 oz bone in Salmon Steaks

Directions:

In blender: puree peppers, garlic, cilantro, yogurt, honey and oil with ¼ C water until smooth.  Season with salt.  Transfer half to bowl for chilling.  Use the other half to baste salmon.

Grill salmon on medium heat, turning and basting with remaining sauce. Serve with reserve sauce.
