Iceberg Salad with Italian Dressing


  • ½ C Oil
  • 5TB white wine vinegar
  • 1 TB mayonnaise
  • 1TB Sugar
  • 1 ½ tsp oregano
  • 1 garlic clove, chopped
  • Salt, pepper
  • 1 small head iceberg lettuce
  • ½ small red onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 oz. provolone cheese, thinly sliced
  • 1 C small mozzarella balls, drained
  • 10 yellow pepper rings


Whisk oil, mayonnaise, sugar, oregano, and garlic in small bowl. Season with salt and pepper. Set aside.

Cut lettuce into quarters and arrange on plate.  Scatter onions, cheeses and pepper rings over the top.  Drizzle the dressing on top.
