Cast-Iron Shrimp with Winter Salad


  • ¼ C Butter RT
  • 1 TB Honey
  • 1 Chipotle minced
  • Salt, Pepper
  • 2 lb Shrimp, peel and deveined
  • 4 oz Frisee, coarse chop
  • 4 oz Mixed Greens, coarse chop
  • 1 C Parsley, fine chopped


In small bowl mix together the butter, honey, chipotle and pinch of salt, set aside

In large cast-iron skillet, melt the chipotle butter.  Season the shrimp with salt and pepper. Add to skillet and cook over medium high heat.  Cook about four minutes and flip the shrimp, then add the greens and parsley and cook until wilted.
