Rifle season is less than two weeks away.
That means it's time to go over some safety tips before you head out for the big hunt.
Experts say the biggest thing to keep in mind is making sure your gun is only loaded while you're set up in a deer blind.
Keep it empty of all shells until you make it out there, and clear it out before you decide to head home.
Of course, wearing hunter orange is a must — and make sure you're not drinking when out the woods.
One other tip — never aim your gun at anything that you don't intend on shooting at.
