MOUNT PLEASANT - On Tuesday the Central Michigan Chippewas will take on the Western Michigan Broncos in the battle for the Victory Cannon, it will also be senior night for the Chippewas. CMU have lost their past 5, but a win over Western would be a great way for the seniors to remember their last home game. Western have won the cannon 5 of the last 6 years coming in, but the Chippewas are motivated for tomorrow’s matchup.
“It’s about us and it’s about, you know, our kids and how hard they’ve worked. Not a lot needs to be said when you talk about playing for the cannon,” said CMU head coach Jim McElwain.
Tuesday’s game kicks off at 7:30.
