HARBOR SPRINGS-- Pen hit paper today for Olivia Flynn and it’s now official: she’ll be heading to Western Michigan to continue her basketball career.
Flynn signed her National Letter of Intent today right outside the gym that she holds quite a few records in already and has her whole senior year ahead of her to add to them before heading to join the Broncos.
She averaged 26.2 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 7.9 assists last season, helping her team to a 22-3 record and District Championship.
She also became the programs all-time leading scorer last year and finished the season with 1,758 points.
“It’s been my dream ever since I was young. Ever since I can remember, and it’s awesome to know that hard work pays off. Just like knowing that I’m committed somewhere is refreshing, but I’m also going to keep playing each game and each practice, like with the same mentality, put in the same hard work and not take anyone lightly.
Finding Western and the coaches and the girls there, they really have something special that I really wanted to be a part of” (Olivia Flynn).
