Finding clean and natural products isn’t always easy. For owner Lyndsay Walter she would drive over an hour to purchase some products, but she decided to make it easier for others to start her own business.
“I have everything for home and body that is nontoxic, plant based and sustainably made in the United States,” said Walter. “I also like to have products that save on water. Water is a great natural resource here in Michigan that we like to conserve as much as possible. So, I have things like an all-purpose cleaner that you just put right in a bottle, 16oz of water and spray, and you can use it for all surfaces.”
All the products can be filled in a clean jar. The jar is weighed and then the product is filled. They subtract the weight of the jar with the product and price it out.
“you’re only buying by the ounce. So, it’s a bulk buy,” said Walter.”
The products are also more concentrated than most.
“For instance, for this liquid laundry detergent typically, and we’ll just say tide or other liquid laundry detergent you need two ounces. This is a half to one ounce,” said Walter. “It doesn’t have all the extra water. It doesn’t have extra phthalates or parabens, which can be toxic to the body, especially babies. So, it’s safe for children as well. And you just need a very little bit. And it goes a long way.”
Walter’s is passionate about nontoxic products and focuses on using them in her own home. She now plans to bring them to yours.
“I had a hard time finding these products locally,” said Walter. “I’d have to drive more than an hour and try to find them. And then you’re thinking about time and gas. So, I decided to not only bring the products to me, but I also do this as a delivery. So, all you do is go online and I will bring the products to you. So, I’m really bringing it to all of Northern Michigan and beyond.”
You can do an online delivery and Walter’s will have you put out your clean jars. She will then fill them on your porch and leave them there for you. Her delivery will also help reduce a carbon footprint from shipping your products.
“Just noticing and being cognizant of the amount of shipping and the carbon footprint that it used to get one product to my home. By doing things in bulk and doing deliveries all in one day, you’re really minimizing that carbon footprint and saving a lot of time.”

“So not only am I hoping to spread the idea of sustainability, of using less water, less packaging, not plastic. Microplastics are in our food and our products. They’re just everywhere. By using things in metal containers or glass containers, you are minimizing plastic. And also, it gives people a pause and, a moment to think about not only what are they putting in their bodies, but on as well, because that’s part of your health and wellness journey.”
