Suspects arrested by FBI in alleged Halloween attack plan in Dearborn

DEARBORN — The FBI arrested several people in Michigan on Friday morning in connection with what officials say was a potential terrorist plot planned for Halloween weekend.

FBI Director Kash Patel announced in an Oct. 31 post on X that the arrests thwarted a “potential terrorist attack,” though no details were released about the suspects, their alleged plans, or specific locations involved.

“The FBI thwarted a potential terrorist attack and arrested multiple subjects in Michigan who were allegedly plotting a violent attack over Halloween weekend,” Patel wrote. “Thanks to the men and women of the FBI and law enforcement everywhere, standing guard 24/7 and crushing our mission to defend the homeland.”
